Mr. Carlberg has over 15 years of experience in management,
customer service, sales and marketing, web development,
project management, and computer operations. With
strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation abilities,
he is adept at troubleshooting and problem-solving. His
technical skills include proficiency with Windows
NT/98/XP, HTML, JavaScript, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint,
Visio, Project Workbench, and MS Project.
Mr. Carlberg has worked and consulted for many companies
to assist them with their customer service issues. With
a strong customer service background, Mr. Carlberg
is regarded as a skilled professional in recommending
innovative customer service improvements to improve
bottom line performance.
As Client Relationship Manager at Eprise Corporation
in Framingham, Massachusetts, Mr. Carlberg provides
proactive technical advice, planning, and support
to select customers (including Sharp Electronics,
Minolta Corporation, America Online, Royal Caribbean
Cruise Line, and the American Cancer Society) and
is responsible for ensuring optimum-quality service
and support throughout the implementation process
of Eprise products. He coordinates Eprise
resources to expeditiously resolve technical issues
and questions.
Previously Mr. Carlberg served as Senior Information
Systems Manager at Staples, Inc., where he managed
a $3.8M project/department budget and a 17-member
technical team that supported all aspects of the Staples
finance and procurement business communities. Supported
applications included Oracle Financials Release 11,
Ariba Procurement System, and J.D. Edwards Fixed Assets. Mr.
Carlberg maintained a Center of Excellence model and
oversaw the successful, on-time implementation of
the Oracle Financials global upgrade. In addition,
he developed and managed the finance department Intranet
site.
Prior to joining Staples, Mr. Carlberg was E-commerce
Project Manager at Commerce Insurance Company in Webster,
Massachusetts, where he led the company's first e-commerce
project team to develop a claims and billing inquiry
system. He also served as Senior Business
Analyst at Commerce Insurance, developing a detailed
business plan that defined short- and long-term goals
and included an in-depth analysis of financial operations,
staffing, work flow, and business trends. He
provided extensive business analysis and information
systems support and developed tools and processes
to resolve a wide range of agency/company interface
issues.
Earlier in his career he held a variety of positions
at Heritage Insurance Agency in Gardner, Massachusetts,
including Vice President, Operations Manager, and
Sales-Project Manager. Mr. Carlberg's achievements
at Heritage include hiring, developing, and managing
an account deduction sales force that increased sales
by $6 million. He also developed and managed
a company-wide automated information system and a
comprehensive automated payroll/account deduction
system.
